How to Fix Forza Horizon 5 Server Connection Issues

It totally depends upon the network connection speed that your WiFi provides you. Therefore, based on that, I’ve gathered some fixes that will help you resolve the network issue. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at them;

Fix 1: Restart Your Game And Device

Firstly, restart your game to make sure that if the issue is caused due to some random temporary bugs, then by restarting the game, these bugs get removed. But, in case after restarting nothing changes and you are still getting the server connection issues on Forza Horizon 5, then we suggest you reboot your device in which you are playing the game. Then, again check if the issue gets vanished or not.

Fix 2: Check For Game Update

There are possibilities that the game has any pending updates or there is a new update available for your game. So, depending upon your device, you can check for updates. Once you update your game successfully, reboot your system and rerun the game, then check if the server connection issues get fixed or not.

Fix 3: Disable The VPN Service

Many users use the VPN service while playing the server-based game to hide their IP address, but sometimes in games like FH5, this issue occurs when using the VPN service. So, I’ll suggest you disable it and then play the game. You’ll notice that the issue gets vanished like magic.

Fix 4: Check Connection Speed

Are you sure that your WiFI network is giving you proper speed? Well, if you have any doubt regarding this on your mind, you can simply hover to the Ookla Speed Tester website and test your internet speed. Also, in case the connection is not good, then immediately contact your ISP provider and ask them to fix the connectivity issue.

Fix 5: Try A Wired Connection

Sometimes, the WiFi network is not able to provide you with a good speed, but if you have access to an ethernet cable, then instead, you can try this.

However, we all know that a wired connection is always better than a wireless one because there is no obstruction between your device and router if you use an ethernet cable. So, once your internet starts working properly, the server connection issues get fixed automatically, and you are able to play your beloved Forza Horizon 5.

Fix 6: Power Cycle Your Router

If even after trying an ethernet cable, the network issue won’t get fixed. Then, contact your ISP provider, but to temporarily fix the issue, we suggest you power cycle your router.

To do so, you can simply turn off the power button and plug out every wire that is plugged into your router. Then, wait for some time and plug them in. Now, switch on the power button and check if the internet issue gets resolved or not.

Fix 7: Check DownDetector (For Server Status)

Did you check if the Forza Horizon 5 servers are working or not? Well, it is possible that you are panicking without any reason because the servers might be down by the developers for maintenance purposes. But, how will you know that you are not particularly facing this error?

Simple, you can hover to the DownDetector and there check if there are other players who have reported the same. If many players report the same error from the past 24 hours, you have to wait until the developer completes their maintenance. Moreover, you can follow the Forza Horizon on their official Twitter handle to get every minute.
